Description

We are seeking skilled individuals to join our Bakery Team at Center Grove Orchard. Bakery Staff members are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Bakery, creating quality items, and ensuring a positive and efficient production process. In this role you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team passionate about their craft who continue to learn and develop skills. 

Roles & Responsibilities

Our Bakery Team is composed of two main roles—Retail and Production. We cross-train in order to allow staff to seamlessly jump in and assist where needed. You might become an expert in one, or you might discover that you enjoy many and become a master in both!

• Retail
• Package bakery items following established guidelines
• Arrange and display bakery items in an appealing and attractive manner
• Monitor product expiration dates and rotate stock accordingly
• Production
• Ensure bakery items meet quality standards
• Assist in preparation and baking of bakery items
• Regularly clean and sanitize bakery equipment and surfaces
• Follow recipes for each item produced

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age to work in Production Bakery
• Able to work 6 to 8 hours at a time
• Ability to stand for for extended periods of time
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Comprehend and follow the Food Safety Guidelines established
• Ability to work in a fast-past kitchen environment
• Knowledge of baking methods
