Andelin Family Farm is looking for a person that is not afraid of getting dirty, learning new things and working hard!

Job duties may include:

*Assisting in building structures

*Building Fences

*Grooming Animals

*Shoveling Dirt

*Feeding Animals

*Irrigating

*Picking up and stacking haybales (100lbs)

*Weeding

*Shoveling Manure

*Weedwacking

*Many other things to maintain the farm!

We like our crew to be friendly, respectful and willing to listen and follow instructions.

Must have a current driver's license and be able to lift 100 pounds and move around the farm with ease. Position includes standing for your entire shift, bending, stooping, lifting and carrying heavy object.

Full-time hours preferred, but part-time is a possibility.

Full -time hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00

Part-time hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00-12:00

Corn Creepers Builder/Special Effects Technician Job Description

Now Hiring a Skilled Trades Technician to help build and maintain Northern Nevada's Premier Haunted Attraction - Corn Creepers at Andelin Family Farm!

Job Summary:

This position will perform a wide range of skilled tasks in the building, maintenance and execution of our outdoor haunted house attraction.  Carpentry, electronics, light electrical experience is REQUIRED.  Other skills are a bonus! 

Key Responsibilities:

Carpentry:

• Construct, install, and repair structures and props using wood, plywood, wallboard, and other materials.
• Read and interpret sketches and building plans for layout and material estimation.

Electronics & Electrical:

• Troubleshoot, test, and repair electrical components, wiring, switches, and outlets.
• Interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Weather proof the electrical components.  We are an outdoor haunt.

General Maintenance & Safety:

• Operate equipment and power tools safely.
• Adhere strictly to all safety policies.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergency repairs.
• Inspect the haunt for hazards and maintain clean work areas.
• Maintain and Repair chainsaws to keep in good working condition

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Proven experience in carpentry, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Position Details:

• Full-time or Part-time
• Hours will vary depending on the season.  
• Must be available 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm - work hours will be variable
• Weekend nights will be required Sept 24 - Nov 7, 2026
• Must pass a background check

Mechanic Job Description

Job Summary:

This position will perform a wide range of mechanical tasks in the upkeep and maintenance of our farm fleet of equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and systems
• Service tractors, combines, sprayers, harvesters, skid steers, and other farm equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and fuel systems
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and drivetrain components
• Keep accurate service and repair records

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Proven experience in keeping machines running in good condition.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Position Details:

• Part-time (as needed basis - not a regularly scheduled position)
• Hours will vary depending on project needs.
• Must pass a background check
• Drug & Alcohol Free work environment
• Pay is $20-$25/hour DOE
