Roles & Responsibilities
What You'll Do
You'll be placed at one of our food venues and trained to run it well. New team members get focused training in one location so you can learn the flow, the menu, and the team around you before anything else. As you settle in, opportunities to cross-train at other venues open up — great for picking up extra shifts or building new skills.
Cashier (16+)
Handle transactions accurately, keep your station clean and organized, and make every customer feel welcome from the first hello.
Runner (14+)
Be the connector between cashier and and customer — quick on your feet, clear communicator, and always keeping things moving.
Cook (16+)
Run the grill, fryer, oven, or broiler and take pride in food that's consistent, safe, and delicious every single time. You'll also help receive and rotate stock to keep the kitchen ready.
Requirements

Donut Maker
We are seeking skilled individuals to join our Donut/Bakery Team at Center Grove Orchard. Our staff members are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Bakery/donut area, creating quality donuts, and ensuring a positive and efficient production process. In this role you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team passionate about their craft who continue to learn and develop skills in making high-quality Apple Cider Donuts.
Roles & Responsibilities
We offer a dynamic work environment where team members have the opportunity to cross-train and gain expertise in various roles. It's important to note that certain roles are exclusively available for donut production. Our bakery team can transition between different roles, which helps make the bakery seamless for production.
- This position may require early mornings.
- This position requires working with the commercial equipment, which includes a big mixer and bowl lift.
- Accurately weigh ingredients, measure liquids, mixing, and frying doughnuts
- Record keeping (times and temperatures) of all products prepared to ensure freshness and reduce waste.
- Working with hot grease and being able to keep up with high volume production.
- This position is responsible for making sure the area is prepared for starting production and cleaning up after production.
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Weekday hours between 7am - 2pm and 7am -5pm weekend hours

Tractor Driver - Equipment Operator
The priority of a tractor driver is to operate a hayride safely and provide a positive interaction with passengers. This person will operate a tractor and trailer ride which will transport guests and employees along a specific route around the farm.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a part of the Tractor Driver role, you will be responsible for:
- Prioritizing the safe operation of the Hayride
- Ensuring the safety and positive interactions of both guests and employees
- Operating a tractor and Hayride to transport guests and employees along a designated route around the farm
- Collaborating with other Tractor Drivers to coordinate Hayride rotations across multiple stops on the farm
- Assisting the Hayride Attendant in safely onboarding and offboarding guests
- Conducting daily inspections of the tractor and Hayride, reporting any issues promptly to either the Farm Mechanic or Owner
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Carry a valid driver's license
- Must attend Center Grove Orchard’s Tractor Driving School
- Must pass Center Grove Orchard’s Driving Evaluation
- Ability to climb up and off Tractors or Hayrides multiple times per day
- Previous experience operating farm equipment or heavy machinery is required
- Able to handle working in warm and cold conditions

Admissions Staff
Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Admissions Team at Center Grove Orchard. Admissions Staff members are responsible for welcoming and assisting visitors, processing point-of-sale transactions, and ensuring a positive and efficient entry process. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment, interacting with people, and contributing to a fun and festive atmosphere, this role is for you!

- Process transactions of tickets, feed cups, and/or produce utilizing the point-of-sale system

Description

Janitorial Team Member

What You'll Do
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and public areas throughout the farm
- Remove trash and recycling from designated locations on a regular rotation
- Replenish supplies (paper products, soap, etc.) before guests notice they're needed
- Perform general cleaning tasks across the grounds and buildings
- Drive a Gator or similar utility vehicle to transport supplies, trash, and equipment
- Support your team and supervisors with additional cleaning duties as the day requires

Ready to be the backbone of our fall season? As a Warehouse Attendant at Center Grove Orchard, you're the person who keeps everything moving — literally. From receiving shipments to delivering products across the farm, your work makes sure every venue is stocked, every team is supported, and every guest has the experience they came for.
- This isn't a background role. You'll coordinate with venue teams, manage deliveries across a busy working farm, and help keep our operation running smoothly from open to close.
- If you're organized, dependable, and thrive in a hands-on environment — we want you on the team.
What You'll Do
- Receive, organize, and send shipments in and out of the warehouse
- Deliver food and supplies to venues across the farm on schedule
- Coordinate with venue teams to make sure they have what they need, when they need it
- Operate farm equipment safely and responsibly
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse that meets all Food Safety guidelines

What We're Looking For

Parking Attendant

Roles & Responsibilities
As a part of the Parking Lot Attendant role, you will:
- Work to efficiently park cars within the designated areas of the parking lots
- Direct traffic to specific sections using parking flags
- Effectively identify individuals with special circumstances, such as employees, delivery vehicles, or vehicles with handicapped parking license plates or placards
- Ensure prompt rerouting of vehicles with special circumstances to appropriate sections based on identified needs
- Utilize clear and appropriate language when communicating with your team through two-way radios

Farm Production Staff
Join Our Fall Season Crew!
We're looking for hands-on, reliable team members to join our production crew. You'll be working with your hands and on your feet all day, running our kettle corn and fry equipment and bottling cider — some of our most popular products in the store.
What You'll Be Doing
- Kettle Corn: Run our automatic kettle corn machine — load ingredients, monitor batches, and bag finished kettle corn for sale in the store
- Frozen French Fries: Wash potatoes, run them through our fry cutter, flash fry, and prep/package for the freezer
- Cider Bottling: Fill, cap/seal, and label cider bottles; run and clean bottling equipment; monitor for quality and consistency
- Keep prep and cooking areas clean and organized throughout shifts
- Follow food safety practices (proper storage temps, handwashing, sanitizing equipment)
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
- Help with general farm duties during slower periods
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable working around hot equipment (kettles, fryers) and moving/lifting supplies (up to [40–50] lbs)
- Able to stand for extended periods and work at a steady pace during busy hours
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a small team
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and attention to detail (consistency matters for both taste and safety)
- Prior kitchen, food service, or production experience helpful but not required — we'll train the right person
- Schedule Expectations: This position starts at approximately 20 hours per week. As the season becomes busier hours may increase to 40+ hours per week
- Applicants must have the flexibility to work some weekends and additional hours as business needs require

Event Coordinator Assistant
Description
The Event Coordinator position will give you an opportunity to gain essential event management experience, while assisting the Event Management Coordinator in a fun environment! Responsibilities will include assisting with management, planning, and execution of events—including Campfires, Welcome Porches and Corporate Outings. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for events the day of, this includes event schedules on evenings and weekends, to ensure they run as smoothly as possible.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop a complete understanding of the requirements for every event
- Manage the set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes
- Ensure communication is clear between the Events Team and departments affected
- Handle day-to-day administration of events
- Assist with the creation and execution of campfires
